The Columbus Aviation Explorers! The Columbus Aviation Explorers is a program that is offered to all high school students interested in the field of aviation. The program gives students an in-depth look into the different careers associated with aviation. The students are given tours of different airport facilities from the Air Traffic Control tower to the Crash Station. We also visit some corporate flight departments located on the field such as the AFLAC hanger and the MedEvac helicopter. Students are able to speak with the pilots of these aircraft and receive a tour of their planes. The group meets the last Saturday of every month here at Skyline Columbus at 8:30 AM.
