I took my first lesson with Diego on Sunday...it was fantastic! i was very surprised by how much i was allowed to do on the first flight.......I have continued my training with Diego and have met Todd and the rest of his staff. I am really impressed with the encouragement and support they have offered. So far they have made this one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you guys!!!

 I checked out in the Sundowner with Diego. I am really impressed with Skyline and how professional, friendly, and personable the staff is. I plan on renting from Skyline Columbus a lot in the future.

Skyline Columbus is an honest-to-goodness flight school just about perfect for the Columbus training environment. They started with a single Beechcraft trainer and now have a small fleet that includes everything from carbureted/steam gauge Cessna 172s to a glass cockpit Cirrus. The staff is top-notch and the instructors patient, but determined that the students get their money's worth. Owner Todd Shellnutt is a "get it done" kind of guy who does whatever is necessary to keep the planes flying safely and keep you in the air. Students are never left to feel play second fiddle to charter business or made to feel they are an unavoidable nuisance, as was the case at the flight school that used to be at the same airport.‎

Skyline operates very professionally and has a friendly staff. If they make a mistake, they are quick to make it right. The fleet is well maintained and they respond to all squaks. Great flight school overall.‎

I have moved around quite a bit, flying in the Midwest, Southwest, and now in Georgia.  I was happy to find Skyline Columbus here in town and have been checked out in their Beech Sundowner and C172's.  Diego was a great flying partner for the checkouts and it was clear from the start he's a confident pilot and instructor and knows the area well.  I've also been impressed with Skyline's facility, particularly its comfortable offices with things like charts available for purchase and current weather and plane/flight status displayed on a screen so you can check at a glance.  The staff and instructors are friendly and there are often a couple of pilots kicking around if you like hangar talk.

I am heartbroke at the fact my work is slow right now because i could be FLYING!!!...LoL...Skyline Columbus has giving me a boost in life and something to look forward to in the future....Who knows......with skyline columbus...dreams are possible...now i just need to keep working and get back to school!...THANK YOU ALL!...SPECIAL THANKS TO TODD AND DIEGO!

I felt obligated to update my praise for Skyline Columbus:  After taking a written test prep class from Todd I was able to score  100 on my written test!!  I think the score speaks volumes about the value of that class.  Thanks again Todd!!! 

I just would like to say how AWESOME of a business this is that Todd started. I am a pilot for an ambulance company here in Lafayette, Louisiana flying King Air 200's and I owe it all to the foundation I have flying. It all started back in 2004 when I got my private with Todd Shellnutt...I later received my instrument with Deigo. If you have 3 months and the money to knock it out, do it. These guys are professionals and I am flying a King Air because of the thorough teaching they gave me from the beginning.

This testimonial has to do with the birthday party we had at Skyline.  It was fantasic and amazing.  The kids LOVED flying in the plane.  Some wanted to go again.  I also received lots of praises from the parents.  The staff was patient and wonderful.  If you are trying to think of a unique bday party idea, look no further.  This is a wonderful idea and we will look forward to doing it again soon.  Thanks again for a wonderful job!

      On Feb. 25th to the 27th, the written exam prep-course was given and I signed up to take it.  Before hand I was hating myself for doing so because I predicted a long and boring seminar that would waste my weekend.  I'm a high school student so I live for the weekends and I was hesitant on giving it up.  However, I went to the course and to my surprise it was interesting.  Not only did I get a great review, but I learned a few things here and there.  Steven Hewlett, the instructor of the class, was great!  He definitely knew what he was talking about and he was far from boring.  After the first hour, the class loosens up and starts joking with one another which makes the class even more bearable.  So if you asked me if it was worth it I'd say hell yes and sign yourself up!  Thanks for the good time Steven, "yeah buddy!"

I am presently a student at the Osan Aero Club (USAF) South Korea and in June,Fort Benning will be my next duty station.I spoke with Todd and from listening to him on the phone,he is a professional.I read the testimonials and I am impressed.I cant wait to finish up my flight hours at Skyline Columbus.ITA SPLENDEAT LUX VESTRA (Let your light shine)

On July 22nd, I finished the Private Pilot course and received my license.  Without exception, Skyline Columbus exceeded my expectations.  To anyone considering becoming a pilot, Skyline should be your first choice.  Todd does a tremendous job running a very professional outfit where satisfying the needs of the student is placed first.  I must mention my flight instructor, Diego, as well.  What a terrific instructor!  His instructing skills combiined with his calm and assuring manner are simply impeccable.  Pick Skyline....you won't be disappointed.
